Linden Gardens 2 Bedroom London Vacation Apartment

PLindenGdns Breathtaking flat that must be seen to be believed.

Bedrooms: 2   Baths: 2   Lift, Sitting Room, Wi-Fi

Situated on the top floor of a handsome mansion block building, this flat absolutely wows! Enter this 4th floor flat into a small entrance hall. A few steps up is a long hall running the length of the flat. All the rooms are off this hall. At the far end is the living room, large and comfortable with white sofas flanking the ornamental fireplace. There is a large work area with bookcases. In the corner is a charming upholstered daybed for young guests. Across the hall is an incredible kitchen with dining table & chairs for six. The windows across the kitchen are open to bring in light and fresh air and afford interesting views of the roof tops of Notting Hill. The gas stove is a Britannia and all the appliances are (including an American size refrigerator) notable brands. There is even a separate washer and dryer. The smaller of the two bedrooms has queen bed and good closet space. The bathroom across the hall has tub with shower. The master bedroom with double bed is quite spacious with an ensuite bath that has a French soaking tub deep enough for a hippo! There is a walk-in shower and wide pedestal sink with makeup area. Much of the flat is sky-lighted so light flows in from above. A small a/c unit in the hall ceiling helps in summer. The photos of this flat say it all!

All About Notting Hill

Farnum-Christ-London-vacation-apartments-Notting-Hill

Diverse  -  Intimate  -  Effervescent

Notting Hill, a neighborhood of alternative culture since its developpment in 1820, is still bohemian.  But nowadys it is a cosmopolitan mix of cultures, a fashionable locale in west London, home to artists, musicians, lawyers, and politicians, including the young Tory leader David Cameron. The architectural blend of large Victorian terrace houses with smaller, more modest pastel homes lining closely-set, leafy avenues give the area its distinct village feel.
Portobello Road runs almost the entire length of Notting Hill from north to south. Portobello Road Market. known as an antigue market, today serves up three experiences - antiques and bric-a-brac to the south, fruit and vegetables in the middle, with second-hand clothing and bits'n'bobs to the north
