It's London, let's Queue!
For those of you who were not fortunate to get tickets in the January lottery, take heed.... It's England! One can always Queue!
![]() |
The queue isn't complicated and is really quite pleasant. There are vendors selling refreshments, and everyone is eager and willing to discuss the latest Tennis gossip. The queue is also surprisingly international with people from world over. If you are lucky enough to be in London (especially the first week of the Championships) by all means, take the tube out and soak up the atmosphere. It's a treat even for those who don't follow tennis! |
About The QueueA substantial queue forms for the daily allocation of tickets. The Queue is strictly controlled in a designated area to ensure minimum disruption to our neighbors. |
|
It is usually necessary to join The Queue several hours before the Grounds open and entry cannot be guaranteed.
Tickets are sold on a strictly one per person queueing basis.
Payment is by cash only to maintain speed of entry.
The Honorary Stewards operate a Code of Conduct for The Queue and will arbitrate in any dispute.
Your position in The Queue cannot be reserved by a third party or by the placing of equipment - you must be present in person.
Ticket Availability
Tickets are sold strictly on the basis of one per person queueing and payment is by CASH ONLY.
Several thousand Ground Admission tickets are available each day. This number will vary depending on the number of people already in the Grounds, the number of courts in play and the weather.
Approximately 500 tickets are reserved daily at the turnstiles for Days 1 to 9 for both Centre Court and No.2 Court and approximately 500 tickets are available for all 13 days for No.1 Court.
